Senior Fellow, Long Term Research in Metabolomics and Nutrient

Establish and lead the LTR Pepsico Biology Innovation Lab (PIBL) Metabolomics and Nutrient Physiology research program and team.

Accountable for developing and managing metabolomic and under/over-nutrition research objectives, budget and timelines in alignment with business strategy, and coordinated with Undernutrition and Overnutrition research stakeholders, and other PIBL research team objectives.
Establish internal and external research collaborations to achieve research goals. Manage PIBL metabolomics and nutrient physiology research team and serve as mentor to junior scientists in laboratory.
Serve as technical expert in metabolomics, under and over nutrition and nutrient physiology and have demonstrated ability to integrate other scientific disciplines including systems biology (metabolomics, transcriptomics, proteomics).
Ability to develop in vitro model systems and experience in high throughput screening considered a plus . Use technical knowledge to lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams to integrate business strategy and provide solutions to business needs.
Highly regarded technical contributor to academic and industrial scientific community. Strong ability to synthesize, present, and publish data for internal and external audiences Minimum Requirements: . PhD or MD/PhD in Biological Sciences with additional 10+ years related experience.

Strong technical leader with advanced communication, publication and strategy development skills. .

Budget and program management experience required . Experience in Systems Biology, Nutrition and Metabolism and in vitro modeling a plus .

Excellent collaboration and mentorship skills with focus on innovation and solutions. .
Highly creative individual with desire to gain and apply knowledge to new areas of research, processes and products. .
Ability to lead multi-disciplined team to drive integration of business strategy.
